During a meeting, you observe a team member speaking in a dismissive and defensive manner to someone about their decisions. How might you give them feedback on and how other team members and stakeholders experience their leadership?


Example: You could provide feedback by saying something like "I noticed that you spoke to your colleague in a dismissive and defensive manner. It's important to be respectful and open to different perspectives when leading a team. Your words and tone can have a big impact on how other team members and stakeholders experience your leadership. Let's try to focus on being supportive and encouraging in our conversations."
